What’s Included in a New Home Build?
Building a new home is a big step, and we’re here to guide you through every part of it. Our custom home builds typically include site preparation, the foundation, framing, roofing, electrical, plumbing, insulation, drywall, and all the finishing touches — like flooring, cabinetry, and fixtures. From start to finish, we’ll make sure your goals are clear and your estimate reflects the full scope of the project.
Do I Need to Have Plans Already?
If you already have plans from an architect, we’re happy to work with them. If you’re just getting started, we can recommend experienced architects we trust. Once your plans are ready, we’ll take it from there — including permits and construction.
Do You Handle Permits and Inspections?
Absolutely. We handle all necessary building permits and inspections to ensure everything is done according to code and without delays. You won’t have to worry about the paperwork — we’ve got it handled.
Can I Use My Own Architect?
You’re welcome to bring your own architect, and we’re happy to work with them. If you haven’t selected one yet, we can refer you to professionals we’ve partnered with who know our process and deliver great results.
How Long Does It Take to Build a New Home?
Every new build is different, and the timeline depends on several factors — including the design, land conditions, weather, material availability, and the permitting process. Most custom home builds in our area are completed within 6 to 12 months. We’ll give you a detailed schedule once we understand your project and will keep you updated throughout the process.
Can I Make Changes During Construction?
Yes. We understand that ideas sometimes shift during the building process. If changes come up, we’ll talk them through with you and work up a plan (and revised estimate, if needed) to keep everything moving forward smoothly.
What Kind of Land Is Best for a New Build?
Property that’s cleared and already has utility access (like water, sewer, and electric) can make the process faster and more affordable. Not sure if your lot is a good fit? We’re happy to evaluate it or help you choose a site that’s ready for construction.
